My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. While the initial room had issues, the accessible room I was moved to had excellent views. The in-hotel dining was pleasant, the mattress was cozy, and the overall experience was quiet. However, the doorway rattling all night long and the horrible, dusty, and humid smell were off-putting. The modest breakfast prices were a plus.

After an initial hiccup with a rattling doorway and unpleasant smell, I was quickly moved to an accessible room with excellent views. The room was quiet and had a wonderful mattress. The fully-equipped bathroom was a nice touch.
Service

The staff was very polite and made sure to acknowledge us every day upon entry and exit. They were great, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel overlooks the Mississippi, providing a scenic view. It is conveniently located on the bluffs, offering a peaceful setting. The headboards in both rooms were damaged, which was a downside.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its ups and downs. The chaotic breakfast buffet was a letdown, but the service was good. However, the chance to see a steamboat during lunch was a unique touch.

7.4/10
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room I got was well-equipped and very clean, which was great. However, it had a bad musty smell that seemed like it had gotten wet before. Also, the AC didn't blow cold air, and my door key had issues. The bathroom sink was held up by a board, a bit disappointing. The manager's lack of concern made the situation less pleasant.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was clean and well-equipped, but the musty smell and maintenance issues were disappointing.
Service
7.0
The service at the hotel exceeded our expectations. Despite the staff not being very friendly, they provided extraordinary service and attention.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was very convenient, high above the Mississippi River, with great views. It was close to Natchez and directly across from the Welcome Center.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was wonderful, offering a variety of traditional Southern breakfast favorites and continental options, but the typical dishes lacked some appeal.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were good, but some areas were dirty and not well-maintained.

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the Mississippi River, providing a beautiful view, though some room amenities were lacking. The service was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond, but certain aspects seemed to cater more to large groups. The dining experience was a mix of adequate and disappointing, with some dishes not meeting expectations. Overall, a satisfying stay with a few areas for improvement.
Rooms
7.0
My room had a slight smell initially but was overall comfortable and clean, with a view of a nearby wall.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, they were all very courteous and quick to address any issues.
Location
8.0
The hotel's position just above the Mississippi River was stunning, but a soap dish and towel holder were missing in the room.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its ups and downs; some dishes were nice, but others fell short, like the experimental 'French toast. '
Facilities
The hotel should consider enhancing room amenities such as soap dishes and towel holders for better guest experience.
